Three steps to a live ad

- 1Sign in and tap Post an ad
Use your Google account or email. It takes a few seconds.
- 2Fill in the details buyers filter by
Make, model, year, city, mileage, transmission, fuel and registration city.
- 3Add photos and publish
Daylight photos of all four sides, the interior, the dashboard with the engine running, and the tyres.
What makes a car sell faster
Buyers in Lahore, Karachi or Islamabad flick through hundreds of ads. The ones that actually get calls tend to share a few things:
- Real daylight photos. Get the car washed first. Shoot any scratches up close. If a buyer finds a dent you hid, he'll walk away from the whole deal, not just knock off a few thousand.
- Honest mileage. Buyers hold the odometer up against the service record, the tyres and the pedal rubbers. A number that's too low for the wear costs you trust.
- Clear paint status. Only write "total genuine" if it really is, and name the panels with touch-up or a shower. Serious buyers bring a paint gauge anyway.
- Registration city and token tax status in the description. It's the first thing anyone asks.
Documents to have ready
In Punjab, Excise lists these for a transfer: the transfer order (T.O) form, CNIC copies for the seller and buyer, CNIC copies for the witnesses, and the original registration certificate with token tax paid up to date. If the car's under the "File Return Scheme", you'll also need the original registration file. Source: Excise Punjab, vehicle registration and transfer (checked October 2026).
Seller's document checklist
Other provinces run their own rules. Look up your Excise office's page before the buyer turns up.
Pricing your car
We won't suggest a price until we have enough real QuickSell data behind it. For now, look at live ads for the same model, year and city. Adjust for mileage, paint and registration city, and leave a bit of room. Almost every buyer here will haggle.
Staying safe as a seller
- Show the car in daylight, in a public spot or outside your house with family around.
- Go along on the test drive, and hold on to the buyer's CNIC while he drives.
- Keep the documents and keys until the money is in your account. Check your own banking app, not a screenshot.
- Sign the transfer papers only after the payment has cleared.
The usual payment scams are covered in detail in our safe buying and selling guide.

Writing the ad
A good title gives the buyer everything in one line: make, model, variant, year, registration city. Something like "Toyota Corolla GLi 2017, Lahore registered, 1st owner". Then use the description for mileage, paint status panel by panel, token tax, and any recent work such as new tyres or a battery.
Drop "urgent sale" and "lush condition". Every ad says it, so nobody reads it. Something specific, like "two panels touch-up, rest genuine", brings in serious calls.
Worked example: a seller in Rawalpindi
One seller put up a 2015 Suzuki with five blurry photos and the words "excellent condition". Hardly anyone called. He re-posted with twelve daylight shots, named the two repainted panels, added "token paid till June, Islamabad registered", and kept the original book on the table for buyers to look at. Now the people calling already knew what they were coming to see.
Get the documents ready
| Document | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Original registration book or smart card | Needed for transfer |
| Your CNIC | Must match the registered owner |
| Token tax paid | Excise Punjab requires it up to date for transfer |
| Bank clearance letter (if leased) | Proves the loan is closed |
| Service records | Back up your mileage claim |
Buyers will look up your registration on MTMIS or KP Excise; our registration guide even shows them how. Get your record in order before you post.
After you find a buyer
Settle the price, then do the payment and the transfer together. See the money in your own banking app before you sign the T.O form, and keep the original book until the transfer is actually moving. A buyer who wants an inspection is a good sign. Let his mechanic have a look.

When to reduce the price
A week of views and no calls? It's almost always the price. Check similar ads in your city again. A small cut plus fresh photos usually works better than a big cut with the same old ones.
