List Your Property on QuickSell – Free for Owners and Agents
Owners and agents can list houses, flats, plots and commercial property for sale or rent on QuickSell, free. A good ad names the exact society and block, gives the size in marla, kanal or square yards, states the price or rent, says whether it's a file or has possession, and has real photos. Buyers check approval status too, so link it if you can.
How to list

- 1Choose the category
Houses for sale, houses for rent, or plots and land.
- 2Give the exact location
City, society or sector, and block. "DHA" alone is too vague.
- 3Size, price and photos
Size in the unit used locally, price or monthly rent, and current photos.
What a strong property ad includes
| Field | Good example | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Location | Bahria Town Phase 8, Rawalpindi, Sector F | "Prime location" |
| Size | 5 marla (state which marla your society uses) | "Big plot" |
| Status | Possession, or file (allocation not yet balloted) | Leaving it out |
| Price | Full demand in PKR, or monthly rent with the advance | "Call for price" |
| Photos | Current photos of the actual property | Brochure renders |
Marla, kanal or square yards?
Use whatever unit buyers in your city search with. In Punjab, Islamabad and KP that's marla and kanal; in Karachi it's square yards. And a marla isn't one fixed size. Some authorities define it as 272.25 sq ft, others as 225 sq ft, so mention which applies. Our marla and kanal converter explains the difference, with sources.
Files vs possession
Selling a file? Say it plainly. Someone expecting a plot with possession will feel cheated otherwise. See file vs possession plots.
Approval status
Serious buyers check whether the society is approved by its development authority: LDA in Lahore, CDA in Islamabad, RDA in Rawalpindi. If yours is on an official approved list, put that in the ad. Here's how buyers check this.
Agents with many listings
Agents can run every listing from one account. Got a big inventory? Get in touch through the contact page and we'll sort out bulk uploads.

Worked example: a 10 marla house in Lahore
Weak: "10 marla house, prime location, call for price." Strong: "10 marla house, Block C, [society name], Lahore. 2,722.5 sq ft (society uses 272.25). Possession, built 2019, 4 beds. Society on LDA-approved list. Demand Rs X." The second one answers the first five questions any buyer would ask before they even pick up the phone.
Give the size in square feet too
A "10 marla" plot might be 2,722.5 sq ft or 2,250, depending on the society's standard. Add the square feet and the doubt's gone. Our marla converter does the maths.
For rentals
Give the monthly rent, the advance or security deposit, whether bills are separate, and whether it's families only. Photos of every room help a lot. Tenants filter by area and rent first, so both go in the title.
| Field | For sale | For rent |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Full demand in PKR | Monthly rent plus advance |
| Status | File or possession | Available from (date) |
| Papers | Allotment / transfer letter ready | Tenancy agreement terms |
| Approval | Mention if on authority list | Optional |
Questions buyers will ask
- Is the society approved? See how buyers check.
- File or possession? See file vs possession.
- Any dues pending with the society?
- Is it in your name? If not, say whose it is.

Photos that work for property
Shoot in daylight with the lights switched on. Take each room from a corner so it looks its real size, and add the front elevation, the street, the kitchen and the bathrooms. For a plot, shoot it from the road with a landmark or the block sign in frame, plus the boundary pillars if they're up.
